About the Position
At Goodwin Living, our nurses know they are making a real difference. We are a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization that strives to serve older adults in a number of expanding locations and ways.
As a Float Pool RN (Registered Nurse) at Goodwin Living, you will be primarily responsible for the delivery of care to the residents and patients across our three campuses in Alexandria, VA and Falls Church, VA. You will work with our dynamic and passionate team at Goodwin Home Health by developing and safely delivering high-quality skilled nursing services to seniors living in their homes. In addition, this position will be responsible for providing end-of-life care and hospice services to patients in the community.
Senior Living Communities
The Float Pool RNs in our three campuses, Goodwin House Alexandria, Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads, and The View Alexandria, will expand their skill set by working in the following areas:
Assisted Living
Skilled-Nursing
Clinic
Memory Support
Home and Community-Based Services
They will also leverage their autonomy and clinical expertise by providing the following services to seniors throughout Northern Virginia:
Hospice
Home Health
Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse Program.
Must have current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact state.
Three years of experience in hospital, LTC, or comparable experience is preferred.
Full-time applicants must be available for two of the three shifts, and seven days a week.
