ICONMA, LLC Fleet Operations Business Analyst I in United States
Our Client, a Biopharmaceutical company, is looking for a Fleet Operations Business Analyst I for their Foster City, CA/Hybrid location. Responsibilities:
The primary role of the Fleet Operations Business Analyst is to analyze the performance of the company’s fleet of vehicles and provide recommendations for maximizing efficiency and profitability.
This role is responsible for managing key functions essential to the success of fleet operations, including fleet and driver administrative support, metrics and reporting, process design and improvement, research and analysis, and performance benchmarking.
Additionally, the analyst will track action plans, conduct strategic assessments, monitor vendor performance, and ensure driver compliance with fleet policies and company guidelines.
Administration of fleet program services including toll, fuel, collision, and violations reimbursement programs.
Onboard and off-board of fleet drivers, field, and campus-based employees, including third-party closeouts.
Utilize strong analytical skills and financial acumen to collect, interpret, and report on data related to fleet operations, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Communicate effectively, providing detailed fleet performance reports and recommendations for improvement.
Implement and maintain fleet policies and procedures.
Ensure the accuracy of the fleet vendor database, including periodic vehicle inventory audits and compliance with driver/secondary driver eligibility requirements.
Assist the Fleet Manager with budget tracking and expense management activities related to fleet operations.
Foster strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Fleet Operations Manager.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a business or operations analyst, or in a similar analytical role.
Knowledge of fleet operations and management is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
A bachelor’s degree is not mandatory, 4 years of experience in a related role such as logistics, business administration, analytics would suffice.
The primary skillset we are seeking for this role is the ability to collect, analyze, and report on the data and metrics relate to the fleet’s performance, such as fuel consumption, maintenance costs, driver behavior, vehicle replacement, etc. and create dashboards to provide readout on findings.
We are open to a junior analyst with a Bachelor’s degree.
However, we also have some flexibility in the BR for the candidate with more exp and the right fit.
