Position Summary
A subject matter expert who analyzes financial information for multiple finance functions. Advanced knowledge of specialized finance functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, property, general ledger, treasury, rates, budget, financial planning & analysis, or project portfolio management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position may have formal supervisory responsibilities over other employees. Note: If the position will supervise, career progression is not an option.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Compiles and analyzes information.
Works with stakeholders to determine information requirements and accessibility.
Provides and advises on alternative solutions.
Relied upon for professional opinion and advice – recognized as a subject matter expert.
Recommends, improves, and implements changes in process and system to better serve the customer.
Leads internal finance-wide issues or initiatives.
Project management leadership, participation, or department representation.
Uses independent judgment and thinking to develop needs assessment recommendations at an organizational or department level.
Produces data and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Effectively communicates information to stakeholders at various levels.
Perform related work as required.
Minimum Requirements Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
Any equivalent combination of certifications, education, or experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities for the position.
Licenses, Registration, and Certifications
Must complete required HIPAA training within the first 6 months of hire.
