Job Description

We are looking for a Field Operations Manager to manage and support the Toll Equipment Maintenance contract field technicians on the Florida Turnpike. This position will be full-time and hybrid.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee and ensure compliance with CAI procedures and requests for field technicians

  • Maintain meticulous files and logs to meet record-keeping and follow-up requirements

  • Regularly interface with client managers and supervisors to report issues and concerns

  • Travel daily within Central Florida’s Turnpike to manage operations (Company vehicle provided)

  • Mentor, coach, and provide training to supplemental team leads

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and maintain communication with field technicians

  • Streamline field operational and functional systems for better efficiency

  • Screen resumes for new hires to ensure they meet minimal contract requirements

  • Conduct performance evaluations of team members and manage employee onboarding and exiting processes

  • Oversee and sustain fleet maintenance to ensure operational readiness

What You'll Need

Required:

  • 10 years of experience in a leadership role with a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated strong ability to lead and motivate others

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

  • Proficient in Windows and Microsoft 365 applications, and adept at using computers for communication and record-keeping

  • Availability for any shift and on-call when requested

  • Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and pass quarterly MVR checks

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

  • Regularly required to engage in physical activities such as bending, squatting, crawling, and maneuvering in tight spaces; carrying/lifting to 50 pounds; climbing, pulling, pushing, standing, twisting, and walking

  • Must be able to drive a vehicle in accordance with written policies
