Job Summary

Implements the industrial security program and ensures company and customer security requirements are met. Interfaces with all levels of STF personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD Manual 5205.07, Contract Security Classification Specification (DD254), and Program Classification Guides. Requires a self-motivated candidate who is capable of working in an independent or team environment with minimal direction. Conducts security self-inspections, applies risk mitigation methodologies, supports customer assessments, and implements security measures to meet requirements.

Telework is supported at 100%. Travel is not required.

Responsibilities and Duties

Implements and maintains applicable security policies and procedures for 32 CFR/NISPOM. Experienced with DISS, ACCS, NISS, and NBIS systems. Manages and updates the company’s FCL status. Reports change in condition packages as necessary. Reviews DD254s for completeness, security requirements, and guidance. Prepares DD254s for flow down to subcontractors. Investigate security incidents report security violations, and prepares incident reports when necessary. Make adverse information reports, foreign travel reports and report changes in status in DISS. Serve as the company’s Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) and serve as part of the working group. Administer personnel security clearances and maintain security records in Access Commander. Knowledge to initiate investigations and Continuous Vetting updates in eApp. Coordinate and facilitate security inspections, audits and government security visits. Submit Official Travel information in SPOT to generate Letter of Authorization and submit travel information in APACS. Complete or have completed required FSO training. Prepare and submit SCI nomination packages as necessary. Able to conduct annual security training and briefings for staff on security topics. Send fingerprints to vendor for upload and submission in SWFT. Serve as the company’s Trusted Correspondent verifying personally identifiable information for employee applications for ECA certificates. Qualifications and Skills

Required knowledge and years of experience

Must have at least two (2) years of experience in Industrial Security. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and be customer service orientated. Must commit to security. Creates and delivers the highest value to customers. Interprets company and government security policies and apply them to program operations. Provides clear guidance to company employees and recommends appropriate changes to operations policies or procedures. Possesses a thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance, and the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards. Experience serving as CSSO/CPSO. Strong understanding of Physical Security requirements to include collateral Closed Areas and ICD 705 to meet contractual needs. Thorough understanding of security databases such as JPAS, eQIP, eFCL and ISFD. Administer day-to-day security programs:personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc. Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate. Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Certifications

FSO Certification is preferred, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as an FSO.
