Atrius Health Epic Systems Analyst III - Cadence Scheduling in United States
SUMMARY Under general supervision, provideshighly complexfunctional and technical systems analyst support for Epic SuiteofApplications. Serves as a liaison between IT and its business partners, to coordinate and help affect system installations, modifications, and on-going enhancements to routine and non-routine system operations. Performs maintenance,development,and customization of the system. Processes information andmaintainscodes,tables,and reports. Prepares and creates written documentation for all changes to systems. Servesas occasional system support to users. Performs systems analysis and considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.Understands andassistswith creating and buildingworkflowswithin focus area and any overlapping processes.Works with little supervision performing broad assignments, usually requiring originality and ingenuity, with appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decision-making.Able to handle complex issues and assignments. Serves as an internal resource and consultant on issues that require the evaluation and consideration of multiple courses of action.

GENERAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES (Describeallthe responsibilities of the job here, including the essential functions of the job, without which the jobcannotbe performed) * Performs Systems Analyst duties within broadly defined specifications of moderate to highcomplexity. Works with more complex sets of issues requiring an advanced skill base within application design. * Has appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action or decision-making. Consults with supervisor on specific matters only where clarification, interpretation, or exception to organization's policy may berequired * Prepares detailed technical design and programming specifications, diagrams and charts from which programs can be written orassistshigher level analysts in writing specifications. * Creates,modifiesand runs global import functions. Updates andmodifiesinformation on individual and multiple records. * Generates routine reports and designs special reports asrequested.Identifiescustomer needs, evaluates existingreports,and recommends or developsadditionalad-hocreports * Reviewsandtestseach new release andresolvesany outstanding issues with Epic before users arepermittedto access the new release. * Analyzes, plans,coordinates, andparticipatesin the execution of the rollout of the software acrossappropriate venues(service areas, ancillary systems, etc.). * Establishes, documents, and adheres to change-control procedures for the system. * Populates, tests, monitors, andmaintainsdatabases. * Troubleshoots problems and questions generated by users via Help Desk tickets or Customer Service Requests. * Prioritizes and implements changes requested for the systemwhile adhering to organizational change management policies. * Coordinatesimplementation and communication about software updates, changes, and upgrades with users. * Analyzes new functionality in new releases todeterminewhether or how it should be used. * Reviews and tests each new release and resolves any outstandingissues with Epic before users arepermittedto access the new release. * Supports end users during go live. * Adheres to standards for naming and numbering conventions and security classifications. * Investigates, documents, and translates the preferredchoices of users. Recommend potential system enhancements needs. * Participates in analyzing data conversion needs for system migrations. * Participates in regular calls with Epic representation to troubleshoot issues and solutions. * Participates in regular calls with Business Partnersregardingproduction issues. * Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS High school diploma (or equivalent education,training,or experience)required. Bachelor's degreepreferred. Epic certificationin Cadence or Referralsrequired.
EXPERIENCE Experience typicallyacquiredthrough at least five years of experience withEpicapplication,mainly withinCadenceSchedulingand Referralmodules. Experience configuringdecision trees, scheduling tickets, and template designOR ademonstrated ability in the past to meet the requirements listed in this positionrequired.
SKILLS Proven success in multi-specialty EpicCare deployments, or a significant role in working with multiple specialties in support and/or major projectsrequired.Possess theability toactivelyand independently investigate and pursue solutions that are outside the realm ofpreviousexperience.
Qualified candidates will be well versed in industry rules and regulations. Basic project management skills (ability to lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts,maintainissues list, manage project plan)required. Excellent communication and follow-upskills.Ability to communicate effectively, written and verbal,required.A wide degree of creativity and latitude.Ability tomaintainpositiveworking relationships and interactions with business partners. Actively investigatesand pursues solutions that are outside the realm ofpreviousexperience. Manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently. Utilize online and written materials todetermineapplication and workflow solutions fororganizational challenges. Function effectively as a team player who consistently meets expectations of internal and external customers whilemaintainingappropriate personaland professional interactions.Provideexcellent customer service, finding creative ways to avoid saying "no" while compromising with and educating users. Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and interact and database softwarerequired.MS Visio and/or Access knowledge a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS Able to use all electronic tools and applications relevant to the performance of the duties of theposition, including but not limited to phone, keyboard,computerand computer applications.

WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS Busy office environment with frequent deadlines and interruptions. May berequiredto provide on-call support.
