Job Title: EBS Application Database Administration

Location: Fully Remote

Job Type: Renewable W2 Contract

Pay rate: $60-70/hr

Our public sector client is seeking a skilled EBS Application Database Administrator with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).

In this role, you will administer, develop, test, and demonstrate databases across multiple teams or clients. Your duties will include designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, and managing backup/recovery and configuration management processes. Additionally, you will install database management systems (DBMS), provide input for procedural modifications, and contribute to day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Oracle EBS R12.2 applications independently, including setting up TLS/SSL across all layers from OHS/Load Balancer to database.

• Integrate EBS Single Sign-On (SSO) with Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM).

• Administer Oracle Applications such as Hyperion, SOA, OSB, and ODI.

• Develop and execute database testing plans, protocols, and documentation.

• Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches or versions when required.

• Collaborate with teams to ensure effective data management and security practices.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database administration and Oracle Identity and Access Management Operations.

• 7-10 years of experience with Oracle EBS projects, specifically in setting up TLS/SSL.

• Proven ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
