Our Early Careers team have been hard at work developing a hybrid program that is innovative, engaging, interactive and experiential. The centralized programmatic elements of the internship will include a mix of learning webinars, self-paced online training modules, peer coaching, mentoring, group learning projects and additional networking opportunities.
We have opportunities for interns to work with colleagues in the following locations:

Lincolnshire, IL
Winston Salem, NC

What the day will look like
The Pension Administration Intern works as part of the Wealth Solutions Pension Administration Group, which is responsible for providing defined benefit administrative services to multiple clients. The following are some of the core job functions:
Ensure accuracy and quality of system-generated calculations using basic testing principles
Assist with manual intervention, including manual calculations, data cleanup and communications as needed
Possess and apply a basic understanding of data and its impact when working on projects and calculations
Process payments and perform monthly payment reconciliation process
Identify and research data questions or edits
Assist with special projects such as testing, benefit statements, and other client work
Lead personal project plan for clients while collaborating and assisting teammates with projects as needed
Skills and experience that will lead to success

Applicants for this role, part of the national Aon Summer Internship Program, should have a target graduation date of December 2025 – Summer 2026 and a minimum GPA of 3.0 or above.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $22 - $25.50 hourly. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
Aon offers a benefits package for temporary and seasonal employees who will work 20 or more hours per week including: medical, dental, and vision insurance at the employee’s expense, critical illness insurance, 10 Company holidays per calendar year (paid, if eligible), paid sick leave as provided under state and local law, and a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions. Eligibility for benefits are governed by the applicable plan documents and policies.
