Drafter

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a Drafter to work in the Power Delivery Overhead Line Department in our Fort Worth, TX office. The position entails drafting and design opportunities on overhead power line projects that include plan and profile, structure, foundation, and other miscellaneous construction drawings.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Associates degree in drafting (or equivalent technical degree).

  • Experience using AutoCAD 2016/18 and/or newer versions.

  • The candidate must have strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills in order to work effectively with other team members.

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship.

Desired Education/Experience:

  • 3+ years drafting experience with AutoCAD.

  • Experience with Microstation is beneficial.

  • Good background in mathematics.

  • Experience working with scales.

  • Working knowledge of survey coordinate systems is beneficial.
