Director, Product Growth Strategy is responsible for leading the growth of Greenway’s product portfolio by developing and executing strategies that drive increased revenue, earnings, and market share. Responsibilities include identification, evaluation, and execution of new product growth opportunities; driving growth through the advancement of build, buy, or partner opportunities; and supporting a strategic go-to-market framework across the organization.

The Director position must lead business case development to support growth initiatives that drive to product market success. Growth could come in the form of organic development, strategic partnerships, or M&A activity. Additionally, a key aspect of this role is managing all aspects of key third-party product partnerships including contracting, reselling, marketing, client support, quarterly business reviews, etc. This role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders in the product lifecycle including sales, marketing, legal, compliance, support, and finance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Product Growth

  • Develop and communicate a product growth vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals and objectives.

  • Lead the development and execution of product growth strategies that drive revenue and market share.

  • Work closely with other key stakeholders in the product development lifecycle to ensure that the product roadmap is aligned with the company's goals.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market, competitors, and industry trends.

  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute product growth strategies.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners.

  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Partnerships & Commercial Relationships

  • Drive new revenue and earnings through acquisition and maintenance of marketplace and strategic partnerships.

  • Manage Greenway Health’s overall corporate relationship with strategic partner(s) to foster executive alignment, execution, and achievement of planned business outcomes.

  • Work with internal stakeholders to negotiate and finalize partner agreements, coordinate integration with Greenway products, align client support and sales strategies, and drive go-to-market success.

  • Periodically review actual sales to compare to business case expectations.

Go-To-Market Success

  • Product Pricing: Oversee Greenway’s pricing committee and align overall Greenway’s product pricing strategy to balance earnings and market competitiveness.

  • Partner Pricing: Ensure partnership product pricing is market competitive and profitable for Greenway.

  • Channel Partnerships: Oversee channel/partner go-to-market strategy, rollout, program management, and implementation.

  • Marketing Alignment: Partner with Marketing to drive content/collateral creation

  • Sales Alignment: Partner with sales with respect to lead generation and solution positioning

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field.

  • A master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.

  • Five (5)+ years’ experience in Product Management, Business Development, or Product Marketing

  • Experience in Healthcare IT (HIT) industry preferred

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with various pricing models

  • Expert knowledge of multiple sales channels including channel partner strategies, lead generation programs, promotions, go-to-market processes, trends, influences, and business dynamics

  • Knowledge of multichannel marketing and training techniques, tools, methods, and policies

  • The ability to frame business opportunities, create structured business recommendations, iterate based on senior stakeholder input, and effectively communicate to the leadership team

  • Thrives on working within a dynamic and highly collaborative team environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to develop strong client relationships with senior and executive-level management

  • Quick learner, fast and conceptual thinker, and strong information/fact retention

  • Strong presentation and negotiating skills

  • Ability to project and maintain a professional and positive attitude

  • Ability to travel up to 25% required

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday

  • This role requires that one can sit and regularly type on a keyboard the majority of their workday

  • This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others’ work, as well as in-coming and out-going communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices

  • The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to customers and other associates

  • The work environment is an open room with other associates and noise from others will be part of the regular workday

  • This role will require the candidate to be able to work outside of regular business hours and weekdays on occasion

  • Travel up to 25%
