Data Visualization Business Operations Specialist

Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) is seeking a Data Visualization Business Operations Specialist to fuse the competencies students need to perform effectively in their operating environment with the production of training, training products, training systems, training infrastructure, training research, and training expertise. The Data Visualization Business Operations Specialist will use their expertise to enhance our capacity to serve our client base by fusing production with resource acquisition strategies, staffing plans, strategic plans, operating plans, and client requirements.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Location 100% Remote

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards and reports based on data sets

• Support data quality improvement efforts across the Enterprise

• Provide analytical support to projects, taskings, and process

• development/improvement efforts

• Create/modify existing shared data lexicons, data models, data dictionaries, and

• other supporting documentation

• Perform quality assurance on finished work products to ensure the effort

• captures all changes accurately and completely

• Coordinate and communicate the status of changes to team members and

• leadership

• Play a supporting role in all phases of the data management program

• Attend meetings and provide input as needed

• Provide weekly or monthly status updates as required

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Visualization, Information Systems, Business/Operations or related field

• MS Certified Power BI Data Analyst

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in developing, interpreting, and making recommendations on dashboards, procedures, and assessing data for an organization, utilizing commercially available data analysis tools and data visualization tools, including PowerBI, and Excel

• Strong understanding of the role of information technology infrastructure, information systems, and data architecture in supporting data science and data management programs

• Experience designing and developing dynamic dashboards/reports and interactive visualizations utilizing various reporting components from multiple data sources

• Experience developing and designing presentations, reports, and other deliverables to summarize findings for key stakeholders and executive leadership, communicating with both technical and non-technical team members
