Consultant, Technical I Location: Riverdale, IA Duration: 5-6 months Description: Client is seeking a network technician with the ability to walk through the plant and identify where a VoIP phone should be located and what network cabinet to connect to. The project of focus is migrating this site from a PBX environment to a VoIP environment. Be comfortable with Telephony acronyms as well as general networking terms. Have the ability to physically walk a large facility, install a phone on desks, review installation situations for potential roadblocks, and have a high safety awareness of surroundings. Skills Past experience in the telephone environment is required Ability to work in a team environment and have flexibility within the project requirements The candidate must have excellent communication skills, attention to detail and self-motivated The candidate will support a staff network engineer and assist as necessary to complete the project.
