Commodity Manager - Temporary Labor

We are looking for a Commodity Manager - Temporary Labor to manage the procurement and strategic sourcing of temporary labor services. This role involves developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the supply of high-quality temporary labor to meet the company's operational needs. 

In this role you will work a hybrid work model with part-time from a home office and part-time reporting to our Atlanta, GA office or Orlando, FL office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for temporary labor services. 

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier assessments, and manage supplier relationships. 

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. 

  • Monitor market trends and conditions to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. 

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand labor requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. 

  • Manage supplier performance, including conducting regular reviews and addressing any issues or concerns. 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. 

  • Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, cost savings, and supplier performance. 

Basic Qualifications: * *

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university

  • 3-7 years of experience in procurement and sourcing

  • Supply chain management experience

  • Written and verbal proficiency in English.

  • Microsoft Office Suite is required with an emphasis on Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

  • Supply Chain Management experience with a focus on temporary labor

  • Experience with SAP Fieldglass

  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills. 

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 

  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools. 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.

The pay range for this position is $72,380 - $151,440 . The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
