The Hershey Company Commercial Reporting Analyst - EU in United States

Work Setup: Hybrid * Location: Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines * Summary: The Commercial Analyst will support our key functions, primarily the European Commercial team, including WTR. The successful candidate will facilitate a collaborative approach by working closely with various teams in the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain and global business services functions, whilst providing data administration support to the UK and European Sales Business Development Managers. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, consolidating, and updating business critical sales trackers and reports, to support cross-functional team with data analysis, enabling them to create data-driven recommendations on how to improve business performance. This candidate will also be supporting with SKU management, collaborating with various functions to ensure approvals are arranged in timely manner and ensuring relevant documents requested for regulatory and compliance processes. They will also be facilitating with inventory related data reports, in conjunction with Analysts. They role This role will be reporting into the HBP Commercial Services Sr. Manager, but its scope expands to the overall European Team providing a real 360 understanding into Hershey’s strategy and operating model for the European region. This role offers great exposure to key Hershey’s cross-functions, and it is the perfect opportunity for a data-oriented, analytical, ambitious, and action-oriented candidate. * Major Duties/Responsibilities:* * Sales Data Analysis and Reporting _ (35%)* * Converting and uploading raw data onto internal Sales Trackers (Internal Country Sales, Trade Pricing) and creating weekly and monthly reports using internal and category data (EPOS, Market Share) * Extracting relevant data from external insights and shopper analysis reports to record Retail Sales Value data. * Building and maintaining internal trackers to consolidate sales data received from distributors and retailers for UK and EU markets on a monthly basis. * Analyzing data to showcase performance and data-driven insights to key stakeholders. * Aligning instore toolkits across distributors for total EU purchases from Suppliers. * Providing input to support with Sales material preparation. Collating sales data for EU key retailer meetings. * _SKU & Vendor set-up (35%)* * Uploading new and existing SKU’s/ vendors set-up processes: coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain functions to ensure that approvals and innovations are on track, correctly set-up in the system and pricing updated in SAP. * Requesting and managing legal trademark approvals and regulatory labelling documents for new SKUs. * Requesting product compliance requests from Commercial functions, coordinating approvals for new SKU’s/extensions. * Master-data ownership between Hershey’s & key distributors, managing of updates and pricing changes. * Other Data Tracking & Analysis (25%)* * Consolidate data requested by EU distributors on data sheets (sales, marketing, logistics, packaging data). Collating the necessary information from all functions. * Supporting with Sourcing Updates for EU Distributors on a quarterly basis. Monitoring the request in SharePoint and coordinating with approvers until completion. * Supporting with reviewing weekly and monthly inventory reports, checking inventory level data to ensure sufficient stock to fulfill orders. Working in conjunction with Supply Chain Analysts to flag issues and notifying HBP MLA team of changes. * Tracking stock data, identifying aged inventory, and updating AGI database (aging inventory) for EU & WTR regions. Closing working with SC Analysts to highlight stock with past aged dates. * Other Ad Hoc duties (5%)* * Raise POs on behalf of the Commercial team, following up on approval requests, and consequent update of the DME tracker with the Pos. * Liaising with GBS team for SAP data maintenance, ensuring accuracy of records. * Skills & Abilities:* * * Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external cross functional partners at all levels. Fluent English is a must. * * Analytical skills: *comfortable with translating data into actionable insight, with some experience in building trackers and reports. Capacity to work within multiple internal and external information systems. * * Action-oriented & proactive: *Good follow-up skills, gets things done, ability to work independently and prioritize. You will fully understand and help shape business strategies for both internal and external purposes. * * A dynamic, skilled, and diverse team.* You’d get to learn from different members of the team in a very fast-paced, creative, and entrepreneurial environment. * Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:* * Education: /Bachelor’s Degree required, in business / analytics / supply / ops related degrees are preferred/ * Experience: * Must have at least 2-3 years of working experience in doing reports and data analysis (retail and merchandising is a plus) * Proficient in MS Excel and Power BI/Tableau (or any sales system * Handled different data sets (different workstreams) * Project Management experience is a plus * Knowledgeable in SAP is a plus * Amenable to a shifting schedule of mid shift *(3:00 pm to 12 midnight) and *night shift (on a need basis) The Hershey Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
