We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Systems BSA to join the Ferguson Digital Trade team! In this role, the BSA will work on efforts to modernize our commerce and transactional platforms. This role will facilitate and push work within and across teams that develop on platforms that span cloud/SaaS and on-prem solutions that have been customized to support our online business. This position requires knowledge about current online commerce and CRM principles and their role may flow into agile product squad organization. Frequent collaboration with key collaborators, support teams, product owners, and developers. The ideal candidate will be committed to obtaining exceptional results, have a strong desire for continuous improvement and the ability to build a collaborative culture within our team and organization.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the research, exploration, analysis, and documentation of business systems requirements, translating them into detailed functional specifications for development.

  • Guides the implementation of systems, working closely with technical team members.

  • Ensures continuous assessment and monitoring of hardware and software needs and provides recommendations for improvements.

  • Create valuable, data driven metrics for business systems, team productivity.

  • Drives documentation procedures and efforts ensuring business systems' maximum impact.

  • Ensure work is trackable, with transparency on status and next steps.

  • Ensure QA, working to minimize defects and designing process that promotes iteration.

  • Identify and escalate blocking impediments for work as necessary.

  • Recommend improvements and assist in changes to standard process, and take initiative to understand new features.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems or Engineering; or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of information technology experience.

  • Familiarity with working on digital platforms, awareness of eCommerce trends and fundamentals.

  • Experience working with an agile approach on large scale, technically sophisticated projects.

  • Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle.

  • Proven experience working with teams that leverage software engineering practices.

  • Must be self-motivated and pragmatic.

  • Be accountable, adaptable, and collaborative.

  • Data driven analysis skills that help drive continuous improvement.

  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.

  • Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate.

  • Highly adaptable to changing environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

  • Must have situational awareness with an understanding of when to listen and when to be assertive.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,444.76 - $9,537.00

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
