Naval Facilities Engineering Command BUSINESS MANAGEMENT ANALYST (REAL PROPERTY AUDIT AND ACCOUNTABILITY ANALYST) in United States

Summary You will serve as a BUSINESS MANAGEMENT ANALYST (REAL PROPERTY AUDIT AND ACCOUNTABILITY ANALYST) within the Public Works Division, under the PW16 Audit Branch of NAVFAC OSF. Responsibilities You will adjust program plans in response to changes in funding. You will analyze information from a wide variety of sources and corporate applications, operations/workload data, business/budget data, and resource/workforce data. You will analyze financial information to resolve discrepancies in the system reporting process. You will consult with personnel to obtain or exchange information to accomplish work-related activities. You will maintain and update Real Property (e.g., land, building, structure) records to reflect additions, deletions, and changes. You will compile written reports to provide status or project updates. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-14: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Briefing military or civilian leaders on Real Property, Planning, or GeoReadiness status, challenges, and proposed solutions; 2) Assessing Real Property, Planning, or GeoReadiness processes to recommend improvements; 3) Interpreting data (financial, budgetary, etc.) to draw conclusions and recommend appropriate courses of action; 4) Developing standardized process or procedural guidance for the knowledge management systems (KMS), or business practice management systems (BPMS), ensuring real property inventory is compliant with governing financial regulations; and 5) Providing training, guidance, and technical references to colleagues across the enterprise. GS-13: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Providing expertise (e.g., RPAO/Real Property Accountability Officer) and guidance to real property leaders on real property data; 2) Applying knowledge/experience of real property, planning, or GeoReadiness criteria; 3) Evaluating and monitoring real property timeliness and milestones; and 4) Analyzing and/or drafting procedures or guidance in support of current and future real property accountability.
