Description:

The Billing Analyst is responsible for the preparation of billing invoices for submissions to customers of various types of government contracts, accounts receivable collections and analysis, and financial reconciliations. You must be able to work with a team. You will be working closely with the Project Finance team and Contract Managers to ensure accuracy of invoices. You must be deadline driven, able to work in a fast-paced environment, organized and detail oriented.

  • Bill clients via PeopleSoft

  • Review all of the transactional business

  • Reconcile all data per the contract billing

  • May participate in special projects and committees

  • Effectively establish and maintain customer relationships on the account

  • Assist customers with billing inquiries and follow-up with operational areas

  • Create and maintain required spreadsheets to track/monitor various functions as needed

  • Special projects as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Be extremely detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and exercise good judgment

  • Possess strong organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks in fast paced environment

  • Be able to work independently under regular direction and guidance on non-routine task requiring judgement and initiative

  • Be deadline driven, organized, and detail oriented

  • Escalates problems or concerns to management in a timely manner

  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Team player with the ability to work independently and fully as a team member with a willingness to be flexiable

  • Strong government accounting background is a plus

  • Experience in invoice processing/validate project types

  • Time & Material (T&M), Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Progress Payments or Cost-plus (CP) experience

  • Experience with Commercial/Government Contracts, Program Finance (PFA), Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

  • Experience with payment systems like WAWF, ExoStar, IPP, MPO, ViaSat, or PLSC

    In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $61,500 - $73,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
