Treasury, Departmental Offices Associate Program Manager in United States

Summary This is a term position. This position is located at Departmental Offices, Domestic Finance - Community Development Financial Institutions Fund. The incumbent of this position reports to a CDFI Fund program manager or Deputy Director and is assigned continuing responsibility for managing a major part of the manager's program. The incumbent exercises program and project management responsibilities in one or more program areas. Responsibilities IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This announcement contains a two-phase process. As a Associate Program Manager, you will: Manage the application, award and compliance review process for assigned area of program responsibility. Establish, promulgate or evaluate policies, guidelines, procedures and methodologies that guide the operations, implementation and management of assigned area of program responsibility. Provide information, guidance and direction to program staff. Requirements Conditions of Employment Key Requirements: Must be U.S. Citizen or U.S. National. Please refer to the "Additional Information" section for additional Conditions of Employment. Qualifications You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-14 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-13 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position, and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes the following: - Experience evaluating and documenting financial performance of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) based on analysis of financial statements; AND - Experience evaluating funding applications related to community development, CDFIs, or affordable housing; AND - Experience leading teams in completing projects or tasks; AND - Proposing and implementing organizational efficiencies (e.g. improvement(s) in operational processes, customer service experience, decision making protocols, and policy and procedures); AND - Experience overseeing contractors in the analysis of applications in accordance with policies and procedures as a COR or equivalent. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
