One of our Utilities clients is looking for an experienced Asbuilt Technician in Omaha, NE Description: The primary responsibility will be to hang asset tags at our natural gas facilities, ensuring accurate identification and tracking of equipment. Key Responsibilities: Hang asset tags on equipment and components at natural gas compressor stations, receipt points, and delivery points. Ensure accurate and consistent labeling and identification of assets according to company standards. Collaborate with the asset management team to maintain up-to-date records and documentation. Create accurate drawings utilizing research obtained through field research. Assist in reviewing and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) to accurately place asset tags. Support the implementation of AutoCAD software for asset management purposes. Coordinate with on-site technicians and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tagging and labeling processes. Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for optimizing asset tracking procedures. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus. Prior experience in asset management, drafting, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Familiarity with reading Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) is a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD software is desirable but can be learned on the job. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
