Description
We are looking for a highly motivated armed security officer to ensure the safety and protection of our client’s assets in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws.Our ideal candidate must be a retired or active law enforcement officer.
Responsibilities:
Ability to exercise discretion regarding the use of your firearm;
Submit incident reports to the US Security Care operations team;
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence;
Perform site specific tasks in accordance with organizational policy and practices;
Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTVs) periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts;
Protect client and assigned locations from harassment, physical attack, vandalism, and other unauthorized treatment.
Qualifications:
Neat and professional appearance
3 years of armed security experience
Must possess a valid SORA license
Must possess a valid NJSP RPO
Must be Active or Retired Law Enforcement
Effective oral and written communication skills
Highschool diploma or equivalent required
Ability to pass criminal background check AND pass drug screening

Important Information: Armed Security Officer Certification (Red card) is a requirement for a private security officer to carry armed while working. It is not the only requirement; it must also be accompanied by a permit to carry. Active law enforcement must have permission from their department, retired law enforcement must possess a RPO (retired police officer permit to carry) or a NJ civilian permit to carry
