Meta APAC Geopolitical Program Lead in Singapore

Summary:

The Global Security Analysis and Due Diligence Team within Global Security produces risk assessments to mitigate potential risks. The Geopolitical Program Lead will oversee the development and production of analysis products that assess physical security risk and threats to Meta’s people, assets, and operations on a regional and/or global level, including but not limited to risks emanating from civil unrest, military conflict, political violence, climate change, and direct targeting from individuals, groups, and governments.The successful candidate will provide analytical expertise to support a variety of cross-functional internal Meta clients – headquarters and regional offices – within Meta for threat assessment and intelligence purposes with the goal of supporting the safety and security of our people, assets, and operations.The global presence of Meta and the nature of Global Security operations require the Global Security Analysis and Due Diligence Team to be available 24/7 to manage relationships, collect and analyze relevant information, and communicate to executives and stakeholders as needed regarding risks as they develop.

Required Skills:

APAC Geopolitical Program Lead Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of intelligence analysts assessing risks and threats to Meta’s people, assets and operations.

  2. Oversee the production of analysis reports and threat assessments for the team’s global mission.

  3. Provide leadership and guidance related to the direction and completion of team projects.

  4. Support an environment of protecting Meta’s people, assets, and operations through proactive intelligence reporting, information sharing, and partnering with Global Security and cross-functional partners.

  5. Utilize analytic tradecraft and techniques to develop tailored intelligence products and provide threat warning notifications to Meta decision-makers, regionally and globally.

  6. Gather and analyze data to facilitate improvements in the methodologies, tools and techniques to enable the team to scale and optimize operations to mitigate potential risk.

  7. Appropriately leverage resources, technology, information, and tactics in a manner that protects reputation and minimizes risk.

  8. Drive a respectful team culture centered on open communication, sharing, listening, and recognition of team members at all levels.

  9. Follow company procedures and processes as it relates to Global Security best practices, and handling of confidential information.

  10. Develop and implement creative and innovative solutions to allow the team to scale and optimize operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree

  2. 5+ years of work experience in producing analysis and risk assessments to support risk mitigations, protective services, investigations, threat analysis, or corporate security operations

  3. APAC region-wide geopolitical subject matter expertise

  4. Proven track record of working within a global arena and managing an internationally based group

  5. Proven ability to work with highly confidential information

  6. Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

  7. Communication skills and ability to distill communication based on the target audience

  8. Flexible work schedule, able to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays

The candidate will work as part of a global team, be responsible for overseeing the development, execution and quality control of intelligence projects, and manage strategic intelligence operations as directed. This is a cross-functional role that partners closely with Investigations, Protective Intelligence and other Global Security and Meta internal teams.
