T he Opportunity

Global Sales Director - Leisure, Luxury, Lifestyle & Airlines, KSA

This role is based in Saudi Arabia and reports to the Regional Vice President, LLL, Airlines and Luxury activation.

We are looking for a talented and passionate Global Sales Director to join our Hyatt Sales Force (HSF) EAME team. This role will focus on leisure, luxury, lifestyle, and airline segments, driving strategic sales activities to generate transient and group revenue from predominantly Saudi Arabia and an assigned account portfolio for Hyatt's global hotel portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management

  • Develop and grow business opportunities in the leisure/tour operator segment

  • Manage key accounts to maximize revenue potential

  • Implement multi-segment approach to pursue all relevant business opportunities

Market Expertise

  • Maintain thorough understanding of leisure and luxury travel trends

  • Stay current with global distribution landscape and channel costs

  • Analyze market trends and competitive intelligence

Sales and Distribution Strategy

  • Manage leisure group leads and optimize conversion

  • Maximize revenue streams from qualified accounts

  • Align actions with Hyatt's global sales and distribution strategy

  • Collaborate with regional and global teams

  • Utilize sales tools and programs to drive revenue

Event Management and Networking

  • Lead sales missions, roadshows, and client events

  • Represent Hyatt at trade shows and industry events

  • Develop relationships with key industry partners

Training and Education

  • Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams

  • Act as subject matter expert for assigned segments

Marketing and Promotion

  • Execute account-specific marketing initiatives

  • Collaborate on targeted campaigns for leisure and luxury segments

Performance and Reporting

  • Achieve quotas and maintain budget

  • Analyze data and provide regular performance reports

Industry Engagement

  • Participate in industry committees and functions

  • Stay informed about industry developments

Internal Collaboration

  • Maintain strong relationships within Hyatt

  • Collaborate with Revenue Management, Distribution, and Marketing departments

Continuous Improvement

  • Innovate and elevate deliverables

  • Adapt to a dynamic environment and deliver timely results

Qualifications:

Q ualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in hospitality sales, with a focus on leisure and luxury segments

  • Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market and travel industry

  • Background in Government and Royal Family business management (advantageous)

  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (speaking and writing)

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with global teams

  • Proficiency in using sales tools, programs, and customer databases
