The Role

We are seeking an experienced Demo Applications Consultant to join our team and help craft our demo experience for Oracle CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote). This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise and storytelling ability to create compelling demonstrations that showcase how Oracle's CPQ solutions enable and enhance optimal business practices across various industries and processes.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Implementation - Be the Architect

  2. Design and implement business solutions on the Oracle CPQ platform that exemplify ideal operational workflows

  3. Configure CPQ environments to demonstrate how businesses can optimize their sales processes

  4. Integrate CPQ with other Oracle Cloud applications to showcase comprehensive, end-to-end business solutions

  5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless demonstration experiences

  6. Demo Development and Storytelling - Bring our Solutions to Life

  7. Craft narrative-driven demonstrations that illustrate how CPQ capabilities transform and elevate various sales processes

  8. Develop use cases and scenarios that highlight how Oracle's solutions enable businesses to adopt leading-edge practices

  9. Create realistic product demos, including fictional companies, products, and pricing structures that resonate with diverse industries

  10. Collaborate with sales, product management, and development teams to align demos with Oracle's strategic vision for business excellence

  11. Project Management - Lead the Change

  12. Transform Oracle Modern Best Practices (OMBP) into actionable project plans and roadmaps

  13. Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing tasks to deliver impactful demonstrations

  14. Work independently while maintaining clear communication with a remote team

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle CPQ or similar systems

  • Strong technical skill set, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, BML, JSON, JQuery, XML, Node.js, and JavaScript

  • Experience with REST APIs, Web services, and responsive web design concepts

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work with limited information

  • Outstanding communication abilities – your words inspire and inform

  • Proven track record of excellence in a remote work environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in fast-paced tech environments

  • CPQ Implementation Certification

  • Proficiency with collaboration tools like Atlassian (Jira) and Slack

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • Graphics or UX experience

  • Understanding of business process optimization and industry best practices
