The Worldwide Aviation Support Services (WASS) program, an AAR business, headquartered in Rockledge, FL, provides global, world-class expeditionary and conventional aviation solutions to the US Department of State Air Wing.

Role Description:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and meeting established contract training requirements. Perform training operational oversight to ensure contractor and foreign nation training requirements and common core training activities are accomplished IAW contractual requirements. Maintain an up-to-date MIS data system to record and monitor training activities including due dates, progression, completion, cases of noncompliance, and recording of all program training tasks and requirements. Collaborate between functional sections and PMO concerning offsite training requirements, JTQP, OJTQP, ATQE, and other requirements as directed by USG. Reports to the Peru Site Manager, and PMO Program Training Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to ensure prepared courses are accurate and meet stated objectives.

  • Ensure personnel are appropriately trained to perform their duties by contract requirements.

  • Maintain an MIS data system to accurately record and demonstrate contract compliance for all contractors and HN personnel, and to measure program effectiveness.

  • Maintain a training schedule and ensure it is appropriately distributed.

  • Act as the subject matter expert on training regulatory matters and respond to questions from senior management, customers, and students as appropriate.

  • Seek and implement training industry developments and best practices to improve the quality of the program.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications :

  • Graduate of formal instructors’ course is mandatory with a military or commercial certificate.

  • B.A. B.S. degree from a four-year college or university in a related field or combination of education and related experience. Or at least 12 years of equivalent experience without a degree.

  • Eight years of recent experience managing military, international, or commercial aviation/technical training programs with significant foreign national training responsibilities is required.

  • Very strong Excel skills.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience operating a Management Information System MIS.

  • Strong English speaking and written communication skills.

  • Spanish Level L-2 / R-2.

  • Ability to pass physical screening.

  • Passport with 18 months remaining.

  • LATAM positions require Level 2 Spanish.

Preferred

  • Aviation training or maintenance MOS series or other military/commercial equivalent desired.

  • Minimum of Two (2) years of aviation training or maintenance experience with H-60.

  • Direct experience within the last five years planning, developing, and conducting training of foreign nationals in aviation-related programs.
