AON Claims Specialist II in Virtual, New York
Aon is looking for a Claims Specialist II

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Travel Practice business group within Aon Affinity. This position has 4 weeks of virtual training followed by a hybrid or 100% remote work schedule.
How this role is different:

In this position, there are various career tracks, such as advancing to the Claims Professional role, which offers more authority and discretion, and the Managerial track, which supervises, mentors and coaches other colleagues.
Responsibilities:
Review and service claims in accordance with plan provisions.
Examine claim submissions and documentation to confirm coverage and assess claims.
Review medical records, itineraries and other documentation to make determinations.
Proactively resolve claims within established standards.
Communicate effectively with customers through verbal and written communication.
Skills that lead to success:
Claims adjudication experience.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills .
Detail oriented with the ability to manage time effectively .
Ability to make decisions utilizing certificate of insurance and adjudication procedures.
Experience:
Prior claims adjudication experience.
General Adjustor license for home state, or ability to obtain within 90 days of start date.
Education:
College education preferred or equivalent work experience.
Successful completion of a 4-week training program required

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 annually. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
