You will join Software Validation Engineering (SVE) team where you will deliver software functional requirements for ECG products and differentiated silicon targeting various Edge and AI products, in both pre-silicon and post-silicon environment. Responsibilities include innovations, automation, development and execution of shift left validation methodology to achieve effectiveness of the validation methodology. The role requires collaborating with various stakeholders, from Functional Validation, BIOS and Firmware teams, COE teams, Customer enabling, Architecture, Design, Board, Software and other Pre-or Post-silicon Validation teams for continuous improvement of pre-or post-silicon validation coverage at systems and cross platform level.
This is a technical and individual contributor role. In this position:
Perform verification and validation on software integration and ingredients.
Lead, architect, define, integrate, validate, debug and automate software testing across the stack for a specific product, platform, feature, or technology.
Designs and develops a software validation environment, the integration, and the enabling of the software stack.
Responsible for the creation of validation plans, automation, associated methodologies, and triage and debugging of failures.
Writes and maintains validation standards and procedures, analyzes the results to ensure correct functionality, triages failures, and recommends or develops corrective action.
Assesses the state of the art and employs new methods to improve quality, automation, and product release efficiency.
Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
Researches and drives innovative solutions for software validation including technical papers and proof-of-concepts.
Chairing and participates in Software Quality Events to disposition and driving software sightings and issues to satisfactory closure.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor and/or Master and/or Doctorate degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
6 or more years of industry experiences in software and automation in programming or scripting languages like C, C++, Python.
Desire in pathfinding, exploring and learning new things and driving for engineering excellence and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Intel platforms, including Core and Xeon processors. x86
Proficiency in Windows operating systems, including Windows Clients, Windows LTSC and Windows Server.
Background in system validation, including test strategy development, test execution and ability to identify, analyze, and resolve hardware and software issues.
A hands-on senior technical person with proven track records in cross platforms and products system level debugging skills, with in depth knowledge in OS working internals, kernel system and architecture, device drivers and SW stack.
Certified Tester Foundation or Advanced Level (CTFL / CTAL) is a plus.

Working Model
