Carsome Regional Assistant Manager, CCL & Aftersales in Malaysia

The Regional Assistant Manager, Aftersales, will play a crucial role in supporting the backend operations, system development, planning, and standardization of aftersales services within the automotive sector. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of profit and loss statements, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to streamline processes across multiple regions.

Your Day-to-Day

Backend Support for Aftersales Operations:

*Provide operational support to the aftersales team, ensuring efficient service delivery.

*Coordinate with various departments to resolve any operational challenges that may arise.

*Manage customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

System Development:

*Collaborate with IT and other relevant teams to develop and implement systems that improve aftersales operations.

*Monitor the performance of existing systems and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.

*Train team members on new systems and ensure smooth integration into daily operations.

Planning:

*Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans for the aftersales department.

*Analyze market trends and customer feedback to plan for future service offerings.

*Work closely with senior management to align aftersales strategies with overall business goals.

Standardization:

*Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for aftersales processes across all regions.

*Ensure that all branches adhere to established standards to maintain consistency in service delivery.

*Regularly review and update SOPs to reflect changes in industry practices or company policies.

Financial Management:

*Analyze profit and loss statements to assess the financial performance of aftersales operations.

*Identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement within the department.

*Prepare regular financial reports for senior management, highlighting key trends and areas of concern.

Your Know-How

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent.

  • At least 5 years of experience in aftersales or a similar role within the automotive industry.

  • Strong understanding of aftersales operations, including backend processes and system development.

  • Proven experience in planning, standardization, and financial management.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret profit and loss statements.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in aftersales operations.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region to oversee after-sales operations at different locations.
