Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for Logging Analytics in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The service aggregates, indexes, and analyzes all log data from customers' applications and infrastructure to enable users to search, explore, and correlate these data to troubleshoot problems faster, derive operational insights, and make better decisions. Logging Analytics automates the collection of historic and real-time logs from any on-premises or cloud resource. The analytics processing pipeline performs deep parsing, data normalization, and source-specific knowledge enrichment to add value to the customers' collected logs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S, M.S, or Ph.D in Computer Science or equivalent

• 3+ years' experience in the industry

• Experience with web services

• Programming language: Java

• Strong communication skills, analytical skills

• Must be a team player

• Experience with open source technologies is a plus

• Experience with cloud technology is a plus

Responsibilities

As a senior member of our Logging Analytics team, you will design and implement the storing and accessing log data in open-source search engines and storage using technologies such as: Oracle database, web services, lucene indexing, solr, elasticSearch, Object Storage, etc. You will solve complex and interesting problems in the area of distributed computing, high volume transaction processing, and large scale system design.
