IHG Regional Director of Sales - Six Senses Laamu & Kanuhura in Maldives

As Regional Director of Sales, I fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them, plus our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsible and caring, fun and quirky, and pioneering wellness. I will safeguard these pillars and its strategic planning and development and ensure all directives, practices, and initiatives are implemented, embraced, and adopted within the hotel.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the sales department to provide exceptional products and services within Six Senses brand operating standards and budget.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.

  • Develop and drive sales strategies to ensure the properties achieve and exceed financial targets.

  • Develop and implement the business plan to drive and maximize revenues.

  • Support the sales team in achieving monthly targets and key performance indicators.

  • Undertake advertising, sales, promotions, and publicity initiatives, and work with the commercial director for sales budgets and rate setting.

  • Constantly assess and review processes to remain relevant, innovative, and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.

  • Continually focus on revenue generation and profile building for both properties and for Six Senses.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Results—driven and proactive with strong organizational and team management skills.

Qualifications

  • To execute the position of Regional Director of Sales, I have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results.

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, marketing, hotel, or business management. Preferably, a Master's Degree

  • Minimum of 5+ years in sales management within the luxury resort or hotel industry in a senior sales and marketing role.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
