Akamai is continuously creating new software security solutions, our systems were delivered in our own data centers, AWS and Azure and we are moving to the Akamai Connect Cloud requiring a DevOps team skilled in the latest state of the art DevOps techniques and Software components.

Our Team operates within the ZeroTrust Security Group, which develops and maintains cutting-edge security solutions for Akamai enterprise customers. In close collaboration with Development, Product, Support, and Sales Engineering teams, our primary mission is to enable the business to produce high-quality and secure products, enhance the security features of our products and ensure robust protection for our customers

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Setting up and looking after multi-cloud (Azure, Linode) platforms based on kubernetes (self-hosted or cloud-native)

• Automating and managing infrastructure as a code (IaaC) for multitude of projects

• Debugging development and production issues on a daily basis

• Optimizing the processes and existing automation

• Researching and implementing solutions to improve overall security of the platforms

• Implementing/patching systems to meet the compliance requirements

• Communicating your implementation within the team and across other groups across the company effectively

• Collaborating with other software engineering teams to influence and shape the design process and product development

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Manage Cloud (AWS, Azure or Linode)

• Experience with Kubernetes / Helm

• Experience with Terraform

• Experience with CD / argo WF / argo Events

• Manage Troubleshooting and network debugging

• Have experience with Prometheus / Grafana / Alert Manager

• Possess one or more Elasticsearch, Kafka, Spark GitHub ActionsSQL
