Oracle Test Automation Engineer in Ireland
Job Description
We are the product development team behind Oracle APEX, Oracle’s leading low-code development platform, trusted by customers worldwide across virtually every industry. Our mission is to empower developers to effortlessly create impactful applications with superior functionality, performance, and user experience. We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining test automation for the Oracle APEX Low Code Platform. This role requires a strong understanding of PL/SQL and JavaScript, as well as experience with unit testing, code coverage, automated testing frameworks, and continuous integration tools.
Qualifications:
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
7 years of software engineering or related experience.
Career Level - IC4
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing.
Implement unit tests to ensure code quality and measure code coverage.
Enhance and extend the test automation suite for comprehensive application testing.
Conduct client-side testing using tools like Selenium and Cypress.
Collaborate with developers to improve overall test coverage and identify areas for improvement.
Integrate test automation processes with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Utilize Git for version control and collaboration on testing artifacts.
Create and maintain shell scripts to automate testing tasks and streamline build processes.
Analyze test results, report defects, and work with the development team for issue resolution.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes for scalability and efficiency.
