Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • Proven and solid experience in software development, with expertise in Java, Java Script and a strong understanding of web technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and practices.

  • Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development tools.

  • Experience with database management systems and web development is a plus.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, your key responsibilities include:

  • Software Development: Design, code, test, and maintain software applications in accordance with industry best practices and team standards.

  • Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze software requirements, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives.

  • Coding: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in various programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails) and technologies.

  • Testing: Develop and execute unit & integration tests and participate in integration and system testing to ensure software quality and functionality.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for software design, architecture, and user guides.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate (with clear communication) with software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.

  • Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve software defects and issues as they arise, providing timely support to end-users.

  • Security: Implement security best practices and protocols to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

  • Scalability: Contribute to the scalability and performance optimization of software applications.
