Energizer Holdings, Inc. International Manager, Strategic RGM in United Kingdom

This is Energizer Holdings, Inc.

Energizer Holdings responsibly creates products to make lives easier and more enjoyable. To do this, we lean into our culture as an organization – we win together, while serving each other, with a willingness to act boldly, all while doing right. Our colleagues hail from all backgrounds, nationalities and walks of life, but our shared mission and purpose make us one team. Position Summary

The Manager, Strategic Revenue Growth Management (RGM) is a newly created International role responsible for identifying and driving market turnaround strategies. Energizer’s International business refers to all markets outside North America (USA and Canada) and has Net Sales of $1BN.

This new position will be one of two Manager roles reporting to a Senior Manager RGM, reflecting Energizer’s commitment to working closely with markets experiencing persistent share loss and P&L erosion.

Strategic Revenue Growth Management will sit as a discrete discipline within the International Trade & Business Development function, and alongside International Category Management, International Revenue Management, and International Business Development.

A particularly close liaison is expected with International Revenue Management. Indeed, the foundation for this lies in RGM. Prospective candidates are invited to consider this position as one akin to a Manager, International Revenue Manager - but “with wings”. By this, we want to be clear that this role will involve travel to various International Energizer markets with an expectation to ‘stay on the ground’ until a turnaround strategy has been fully developed and aligned upon. Typically, this commitment might range from single-digit weeks to 2-3 months.

The role will suit a confident, energetic self-starter, who is comfortable working across a global matrix organization, and who can adeptly influence stakeholders across different cultures. It particularly necessitates working closely with local (in-market) Commercial Management teams to significantly (and often quickly) improve business and share performance, leveraging a strong RGM analytic toolbox and powerful interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to pull market share and internal P&L data with ease and speed in order to quickly generate a “Market Fact base”- a baseline of performance from which to assess strategic options.

  • Create compelling presentations which summarize clearly the insights and the workings of the market (Brand/Channel/Regions/Customers)

  • Evaluate pricing landscape in a consistent, structured and disciplined way in order to identify key dynamics, gaps and trends and ultimately opportunities for Energizer.

  • Commission and lead analytic studies where appropriate in identified “turnaround” markets ensuring the investment yields answers to the business questions.

  • Leverage existing analytic insights (e.g., Nielsen Price and Promotion studies) to make recommendations on optimal shelf pricing by Channel and Customer where there are deviations either against our global strategy or where there are additional competitor-based opportunities.

  • Understand and analyze promotional performance and to propose improvements consistent with business objectives.

  • Leverage elasticity and other insights to estimate and model changes to market share, net sales, and margin pools, and be confident to propose a clear route which best achieves the stated objectives

  • Track, evaluate turnaround progress and identify adjustment strategies as part of an overall project.
