About the Opportunity

The Head of Digital Project Controls is accountable designing and implementing Capital Platforms to support integrated project controls applications, ensuring seamless delivery across large capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Advocate for the adoption of innovative technologies, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project management and controls.

• Strategy: Collaborate closely with clients to refine and implement their digital strategies, ensuring alignment with their goals and the industry’s evolving demands.

• Delivery: Deliver the digital project controls application transformation by defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap, while gathering and prioritizing requirements for successful implementation.

• Performance: Provide technical oversight for projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and client needs, including solution implementation and ongoing support.

• Relationships: Partner with suppliers to integrate solutions into programs, projects, and organizational frameworks.

• Pre-Sales: Provide guidance and strategies around Digital Project Controls opportunities.

• Solution Design: Lead the design and integration of digital Project Controls applications within the capital platform, ensuring seamless data flow and robust analytics capabilities

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Strategic insight, professional skills, diverse experience, and personal attributes necessary for this role.

• A recognised project management qualification, such as APM Registered Project Professional, is essential.

• A degree in engineering or a science discipline, or equivalent experience that substitutes for formal qualifications.

• Demonstrated success in managing complex projects, programs, or portfolios, particularly during the development phase.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing abilities

• You will have experience leading teams in complex, evolving environments, cultivating a culture that encourages skill development and innovation.

• Demonstrate experience in implementing recognised project control practices across projects and programs of varying sizes.

• Proven ability to deliver complex and challenging projects from a client-facing perspective, meeting time, cost, and quality objectives.

Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
