Oracle Senior "early bird" Spanish or Portuguese speaking Exadata DBA in Spain
Job Description
This is customer facing role (remote). It requires deep DBA and Exadata knowledge to analyze and coordinate the resolution of customer impacting issues. It involves cooperation with Oracle Product Support and internal OCI Cloud teams, typically via Zoom.
Majority of customers are in Latin America (i.e. Brazil) and thus Good level of spoken and written Spanish or Portuguese on top of very good English is a must.
Working Hours will be 05 AM – 03 PM (15:00hrs) Central European Summer time for 4 days in working week (Sunday to Wednesday / Wednesday to Saturday)

Responsibilities
You will be required to ensure that client's business impacting issues are properly handled and resolved at the shortest possible time.
Required skills:
Good level of spoken and written Spanish or Portuguese
Good level of spoken and written English
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
Great communication skills
Good organisational and leadership (initiative) Skills
8 Years of Experience in Technology Related Activities including external customer interaction
Knowledge of Exadata operations (patching, upgrades, node addition, storage cell addition and storage configuration)
Knowledge of DBA tasks (performance tuning, patching, backup&recovery, Data Guard)
Knowledge of Clusterware - RAC/GRID configurations (configuration, upgrade)
Overall knowledge of Cloud Computing
Experience in any Unix shell scripting
OCI knowledge (networking, access management)
Golden Gate Skills – Troubleshooting and Overall Architecture
Database Performance Tuning Skills
RMAN and Backup Related Skills
Data Guard Knowledge – Migrations and Architecture
