Red Hat Senior System Administrator - Information Security (Brno Office, Czech Republic) in Czech Republic

The Red Hat Information Risk and Security team is looking for a Senior Information Security System Administrator in the Czech Republic.

In this role, you'll play a key part in maintaining and enhancing our Security Infrastructure, focusing on automation, OpenShift containerization, integrating diverse systems, and Linux management.

Day-to-day responsibilities will encompass server patching, server management, implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using Ansible, and more.

What will you do:

  • Perform day-to-day system administration duties in relation to bare metal, virtualized, and cloud-based hosts across our environment

  • Assist with deployment, maintenance, monitoring, response, and capacity planning for business-critical systems and infrastructure

  • Diligently respond to and resolve incidents, service requests, and change request tickets

  • Collaborate daily with globally distributed team members and other teams

  • Identify opportunities for automation and other improvements

  • Maintain and expand the Ansible codebase comprising custom roles, collections, or playbooks and manage host configuration through the Ansible Automation Platform

  • Manage the Openshift platform and help other teams with workload migration

What will you bring:

  • 3+ years experience in a system administration role

  • Experience with enterprise-level Linux System Administration

  • Experience with Ansible or similar infrastructure as a code tools

  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, or similar

  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English

  • Experience with Openshift or Kubernetes is a plus

  • Red Hat certifications or experience with Red Hat products is a plus

  • Any contributions to an open-source community project are a plus

  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, and to collaborate within a global, diverse, multicultural team
