Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our Network Drivers Team, responsible for developing and maintaining Linux kernel network drivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Linux kernel development, excellent leadership skills, and experience working with cross-functional & globally distributed teams and partners.

What You Will Do:

• Lead and manage a team of software engineers developing Linux kernel network drivers

• Collaborate with external partners to integrate their network drivers into RHEL

• Drive technical roadmap and strategy for Network Drivers Team

• Ensure high-quality driver development, testing, and release

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning

• Manage project timelines & resources

• Communicate technical plans and progress to stakeholders

What You Will Bring:

• Hands-on experience in Linux kernel development

• Experience in managing software engineering teams

• Knowledge of Linux kernel networking and network drivers

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with open-source software development and communities

• Experience with Agile development methodologies

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing

• Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies

• Experience working with partners and cross-functional teams

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
