Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Siebel Support Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional technical support to our clients on all aspects of the Siebel CRM application. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, diagnosing complex problems, and working collaboratively with developers and other IT professionals to ensure seamless operation and maximize the value of Siebel CRM.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to internal users of the Siebel CRM application, effectively resolving their issues and ensuring their satisfaction.

  • Conduct in-depth troubleshooting to identify and resolve a wide range of Siebel CRM issues, including functional errors, configuration problems, and performance bottlenecks.

  • Analyze system logs, trace files, and other relevant data sources to pinpoint the root cause of incidents and develop effective solutions.

  • Implement effective solutions to resolve Siebel CRM issues, potentially involving configuration changes, data manipulation, or workarounds.

  • Document technical solutions and procedures in a clear, concise, and organized manner to ensure knowledge transfer and maintain consistency.

  • Collaborate with Siebel development teams and other support specialists to escalate critical issues and identify long-term solutions.

  • Proactively identify and report potential Siebel CRM issues to prevent them from impacting users and disrupting operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, with a demonstrated focus on Siebel CRM.

  • In-depth knowledge of Siebel CRM architecture, functionality, configuration, and administration.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and logically to identify the root cause of issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Experience with SQL queries is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of ITIL or similar service management methodologies is a plus.

  • Certification in Siebel CRM is a plus (e.g., Siebel CRM Certified Professional).

Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.
