WSP USA HRIS Analyst in Canada

This position interacts with internal clients in their area of specialty and responsibility. The primary responsibility for HRIS Analyst is ensuring the global HRIS system functions correctly and efficiently and meets the expectations of the business.

What you can expect to do here:

  • Develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of the CORE HR HRIS system in order to effectively utilize its capabilities.

  • Provide support and expertise in any of the following areas within Oracle HCM: o Report and Analytics o Performance Management o Recruiting (Taleo and/or ORC) Onboarding o Checklists o Learning o Career Development o Talent o Goal Management o Succession Management

  • Provide support for questions that come through e-mail or the HelpDesk, ensuring privacy and protection of employee information.

  • Design, develop, and generate regular and ad-hoc reports by collecting, manipulating, and auditing employee related data from a variety of internal databases.

  • Support the HRIS Administrator in the review/maintenance of training material / reference documentation to support HR in their use of the HRIS platform.

  • Proactively review data within the system to ensure it is correctly entered and meets global requirements.

  • Participate in the quarterly updates and enhancements to our HCM suite by Oracle. Proactively review release notes provided by Oracle.

  • Support new HCM implementations and integration, as well as system testing. Business Partnering

  • Provide support including researching / resolving issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

  • Serve as a primary support/key contact for one or more regional HR teams (or the global function on one or more modules), maintaining a pro-active methodology to working with support group.

  • Support the Human Resources team in the configuration and maintenance of the on-going business process such as annual performance management cycles.

  • Collaborate with functional and technical staff from our Business Information System department (BIS) to support application upgrades.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in systems administration of Human Resources Systems.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in transactional Human Resources.

  • Proficient in core office programs (e.g. Microsoft Office products)

  • Demonstrated ability to uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.

  • Proficient in Oracle HCM

  • Bi-lingual English & Spanish

  • In-house experience working with an international organization.

  • Demonstration of continued on-going professional education such as:

  • Professional designation/certification

  • Specific designation / credentials in HRIS system of record

  • Working towards or achieved additional education in area of specialty
