Oracle Senior Exadata DBA (spanish speaker) in Brazil

Job Description

Senior Exadata DBA “early bird” English, Spanish speaker This is a customer facing (remote) role. Requires in-depth DBA and Exadata knowledge to analyze and coordinate resolution of issues impacting the customer. Involves collaboration with Oracle Product Support and internal OCI Cloud teams, typically via Zoom.• Most customers are in Latin America (i.e. Brazil) and therefore good level of spoken and written Spanish, as well as very good English, is essential.• Working hours will be Monday through Friday business hours

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

You will ensure that issues impacting the customer's business are properly addressed and resolved as quickly as possible.

Required Skills:

• Good level of spoken and written SpanishGood level of spoken and written English

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Great communication skills

• Good organizational and leadership skills (initiative)

• 08 years of experience in technology-related activities, including interaction with external customers

• Knowledge of Exadata operations (patching, upgrades, adding nodes, adding storage cells, and configuring storage)

• Knowledge of DBA tasks (performance tuning, patching, backup and recovery, Data Guard)

• Knowledge of Clusterware - RAC/GRID configurations (configuration, upgrade)

• General knowledge of cloud computing

• Experience in any Unix shell scripting

• Knowledge of OCI (networking, access management)

• Golden Gate skills - Troubleshooting and general architecture

• Database performance skills

• RMAN and backup-related skills

• Knowledge of Data Guard - Migrations and architecture

• Expertise in autonomous database is a plus
