Job Description Summary

Ultrasound Finance Leader EAGM has responsibility for commercial finance activities across the Zone for Ultrasound segment.

She/he will report to the Zone CFO and will work closely with the Zone/LCT Ultrasound GM to drive capital allocation decisions, Go To Market strategy, implement correct product positioning and NPI commercial launches.

She/he is accountable for accurate and forecasting and planning of orders, sales, and overall profitability for the segment at Zone level ensuring constant dialogue and linkage with the International Ultrasound Finance Manager and International Ultrasound GMs.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Zone/LCT Ultrasound GM to drive operating performance and act as champion for strategic initiatives within the segment.

  • Coordinate with the zone finance teams to provide centralized finance reporting capabilities, commercial & operational productivity metrics, forecasting and contribute to the overall business growth.

  • Establish and maintain a financial measurement and reporting system, which provides management with appropriate information and counsel.

  • Work horizontally across the zone to ensure consistency and best practice sharing within the Ultrasound segment.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations on pricing, productivity, product/country mix based on financial analysis, scenario modeling, and risk assessment.

  • Partner with commercial, operational and service organization to layout growth strategy and plan execution to meet financial goals.

  • Coordinate with the International Ultrasound segment finance team to ensure alignment on strategy, provide visibility on execution & performance, and secure support needed.

  • Drive operating forecasts and plans, including appropriate contingency planning as well as monitor performance against plan, analyze variances, and identify areas for improvement.

Qualification :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration and 8+ years of financial work experience

  • Strong knowledge of GEHC financial, commercial and service operating systems.

  • Strong financial and accounting background.

  • Detailed knowledge of the Healthcare industry and market.

  • In-depth understanding of segment’ product development and launch processes Advanced analytical skills.

  • Ability to manage and interpret financial data and product metrics.

  • Excellent kills in cost and profit evaluation and analysis.

  • Effective communication skills and ability to lead numerous and diverse teams.

  • Ability to make strategic decisions and provide strategic guidance to the business.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions and zones.

  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating teams.

  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment.

  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner.
