We are seeking an experienced Project & Application Engineer – Busway to join our team in Dubai .

What you’ll do:

  • Manage responsibilities related to Estimation support of EATON’s busway offerings, supporting existing & new Busway partners with design trainings in AutoCAD, review technical drawings (early stage & post-order) & help them develop their own techno-commercial capabilities.

  • Grow relationships with end customers contractor & client representatives engaged in site activities during installation & testing commissioning as a Brand ambassador for the product.

  • Liaise with Feeder plant and regional pricing & sales verticals & channel partners to bridge the techno-commercial gap from early stage to late-stage pre-order cycles.

  • Be aware of regional requirements around design & 3rd party equipment (LV switchgear, UPS & Transformers which tie into the busway) which could also be EATON supply scopes on certain projects to ensure customer gets a functional end-to-end solution from the busway feeder plants.

  • Work with the regional Order management teams to translate customer requirements to the feeder plants and assist them on Change management (change order notices) with a high focus on ON-TIME deliveries.

  • Assist Regional Claims organization with the technical aspects of partner Claims and for feeder plants to action and maintain EATON’s brand reliability with buyers.

  • Be Highly collaborative in a matrix organization filled with a diversity of backgrounds, experience, and perspectives.

  • Prioritize customer needs & awareness of market trends and competitive insights

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience with design, Pre-qualification submissions, site measurements & principles of installation & testing commissioning of low voltage busway.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a Technically strong Knowledge of LV busways. Higher level Knowledge of AutoCAD is a must.

  • Familiarity with IEC61439.6 & NEMA BU1.1 standards for Low voltage busway design & installation & testing is required.

  • Good Communication skills in English. Arabic or Hindi /Urdu/ Tagalog is an advantage to interact with technicians conducting installation & testing activities at site.

  • Driving license (GCC) is a pre-requisite as this role requires a level of travel.
