Job Description:

CAD Operator - Architectural

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Operator - Architectural to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Ensure that all designs comply with project specifications, compliance with codes and standards and Developer Guideline standards and requirements.

• Review and evaluate architectural designs, GFA Calculation for compliance with project requirements and regulations. Confirm with accuracy.

• Provide technical analysis and recommendations to ensure design solutions are practical and efficient.

• Revise drawings and plans as requested ensuring that all changes meet the project requirements, codes, and standards.

• Prepare detailed reports and feedback on design reviews.

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop accurate drawings.

• Organize and archive completed drawings and project files for easy access by project stakeholders and for future reference.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Diploma in Architectural Drafting or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in design review, preferably in the real estate development industry.

• Strong knowledge of local and international building codes and regulations.

• Proficient in design software (AutoCAD).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Software experience of Revit / BIM is advantageous.
