Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team, specializing in the shipping and receiving of a wide range of military products. This role requires a meticulous approach to handling inventory, strong computer skills, and the ability to perform precise visual inspections on products before they are shipped. The idea candidate will have at least 3 years of recent warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and process incoming military products, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored correctly.

• Use RF scanners to accurately pick and fill orders, ensuring that each order is complete and correctly labeled.

• Carefully pack and ship orders, paying close attention to detail to prevent damage during transit.

• Organize and retrieve stock within the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management software such as Oracle and Salesforce.

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of products before shipping to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and stock pickers, to move and organize inventory.

• Utilize carpentry skills to cut wood, use hand and power tools, and secure items on pallets.

• Accurately label boxes and items when picking orders to ensure proper identification and tracking.

• Work closely with team members to bring orders to the line for picking and packing, ensuring efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including reading work orders and using computers.

• Proficiency with warehouse management software, Oracle, and Salesforce.

• Experience with email communication and basic computer applications.

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

• Experience with carpentry tasks, including using hand saws, electric drills, and other power tools.

• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50
