Job Description

The Project Accountant will be responsible for supporting a project management team with the finances for assigned projects. This is an entry level position where they will be responsible for accounts payable, reviewing budgets, revenue tracking, and reviewing project profitability. They will be monitoring project spend, analyzing cost breakdowns, and identifying areas for cost optimization. The Project Accountant will also maintain accurate project records and documentation to comply with project standards and regulations.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, or finance.

2 years of previous accounting experience.

Experience working with accounts payable, reviewing and preparing profitability reports, coordinating with vendors, and understanding compliance issues.

Experience reconciling accounts and paying bills. Previous construction accounting experience. null
