Job Title: Material Mover

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Material Mover to assist in the development of inventory bins at Amazon sites. This role involves moving materials within the distribution center to support the upgrade and automation processes.

Responsibilities

• Move materials within the distribution center

• Hand off pods to the Loading/Unloading team

• Use pallet jacks to transport products

• Load and unload trucks of materials and supplies

• Perform light housekeeping tasks

• Assist with inventory management

• Stand, walk, and lift objects throughout the day

Essential Skills

• Experience with picking and pallet jacks

• Ability to unload and move materials

• General labor and lifting capabilities

• Inventory management

• Attention to detail

• Ability to document errors

• Strong communication skills

Work Environment

This role is based in a construction environment at Amazon ORF4, 1795 Dam Neck Rd. Virginia Beach, VA. The site is currently under construction, with port-a-potties available and non-climate controlled conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
