Mechatronics Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced engineer to work on the camera and vision systems used by robotic systems in an automated warehouse. The primary focus will be on debugging issues, collecting data, and replacing cameras and sensors that may experience problems.
Responsibilities
Debug issues with camera and vision systems.
Collect and clean up data, and produce simple visualizations using tools such as Excel or matplotlib.
Replace cameras and sensors as needed.
Inspect and handle electromechanical systems including wire harnesses, controllers, cameras, motors, and power supplies.
Perform light work using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and wire crimpers.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with Linux OS, including terminal operations such as navigating, installing/updating packages, and debugging with logs.
Ability to log into remote machines using SSH.
Comfortable inspecting and handling electromechanical systems.
Experience with machine vision and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to collect and clean up data, and produce simple visualizations using tools such as Excel or matplotlib.
Familiarity with mechanical CAD software, primarily SolidWorks, to view design files and take measurements.
Work Environment
The position involves working in an automated warehouse, handling and inspecting various electromechanical systems, and using hand tools for light work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00
