Hiring Mechanical Installers

Job Duties

• We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Installer to join our team. This role involves a lot of physical activity, including standing and walking all day, as well as using pallet jacks to move products and materials.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, handling inventory, and performing light housekeeping task

Responsibilities

• Hand off pods to the Loading/Unloading team

• Use pallet jacks to move products from one place to another

• Load and unload trucks of material and supplies

• Perform light housekeeping tasks

• Assist with inventory management

• Remain on feet 100% of the day and lift objects to move them around

Essential Skills

• Experience with electric pallet jacks

• Ability to pick and handle materials

• Mechanical installation

• Production assembly

• General labor

• Use of power tools and hand tools

• Construction experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Attention to detail

• Ability to document errors

• Strong communication skills

• This position offers the opportunity to help launch a large Amazon Robotics Distribution Center in Virginia Beach. The role is well-compensated to offset the 6 month contract length, providing a rewarding short-term opportunity .

Work Environment

The work environment is currently in the construction phase as the facility is being completed.

This includes a construction work environment with port-a-putties and non-climate controlled conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00
