Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team. You will be responsible for performing visual preventative safety inspections, reporting dangerous department or equipment conditions, and communicating equipment malfunctions and low inventory levels to the Practice Manager. You will utilize the computer system to enter orders and confirm patient identity prior to procedures. You will also be required to attend hospital-wide orientations, meetings, and in-services, and demonstrate a commitment to flexible work scheduling when necessary to ensure patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform visual preventative safety inspections and report dangerous department or equipment conditions.
Communicate equipment malfunctions and low inventory levels to the Practice Manager.
Utilize the computer system to enter orders.
Confirm patient identity prior to procedures via verbal communication.
Perform scheduled tasks as required.
Attend required hospital-wide orientations, meetings, and in-services.
Demonstrate a commitment to flexible work scheduling to ensure patient care.
Essential Skills
At least one year of experience as a technologist.
Mammography experience - at least 6 months
ARRT registration.
Work Environment
You will work Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The environment offers standard hours with no weekends or nights.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $42.00/hr.
