Job Summary:

R3 seeks a Diving Systems Program Manager will provide Diver Life Support Systems Program Management (DLSS) to include equipment maintenance scheduling and tracking, repair parts ordering and tracking, data entry, budget analysis and tracking specific to maintenance. These duties also include the preparation and documentation to support systems certifications for the Command’s DLSS. Provide data and system support for the following systems/tools used for inventory control, record-keeping, and parts ordering: SKED 3.2.2, OMMS-NG 3, and Microsoft Suite.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Readiness and Dive Systems Department Head (DH) in the management of UCT-ONE’s maintenance scheduling and reporting, repair parts inventory and ordering, budget analysis, and data entry.

  • Assist the DH in preparing orders for repair parts utilizing the Navy Stock system or ESSM to include balancing and oversight of the maintenance budget.

  • UCT ONE has a single detachment deployed 365 days a year in which maintenance will be conducted continuously CONUS and OCONUS.

  • Assist the Department Head in maintaining accountability of the maintenance performed on all Divers Life Support Equipment to include procurement input of maintenance tracking records and requisitioning maintenance related items to any location CONUS and OCONUS.

  • Maintain maintenance accountability using computer-based software to include Microsoft Office Suite, web-based programs, SKED, and OMMS.

  • Monitor weekly maintenance checks and provide monthly equipment readiness status to command.

  • Conduct oversight, analysis and projection of the maintenance budget and provide monthly reports to the command.

  • Provide logistical and data entry support as required.

  • Prepare and develop NAVSEA System’s Certification requirements to include, but not limited to the creation and or updating of Pre-Survey Outline Booklet, Equipment Service List, and Diving Safety Center Check Sheets.

  • Augment Preventative and Corrective Maintenance actions associated with the Command’s DLSS.

Qualifications:

  • Retired or former U.S. Military Senior Enlisted (E-6 and above).

  • First Class Diver, Master Diver, or Diving Officer with six (6) years DLSS experience.

  • Experience with SKED 3.2, and OMMS-NG.

  • Proficiency with using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Teams software.
